KCWA Celebrates Monthi Fest 2022

“If you can’t feed a hundred people then just feed one”- St. Mother Teresa

Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) celebrated the Nativity of our Blessed Virgin Mary in a unique manner this year. Unlike the previous years, KCWA offered Festive thanksgiving mass in all 4 parishes in Kuwait on the day of Monthi Fest celebration.

The most important part of Monthi Fest celebration is the serving of Noven Jevan. Due to unavoidable circumstances we could not serve festive meal in Kuwait. However to fulfill the purpose, Mama Mary directed us to serve this meal to less fortunate members of our society in our home town viz. Mangalore and Udupi diocese. Over 2000 individuals from 8 shelter homes in Mangalore Diocese and 8 shelter homes in Udupi Diocese were served with Monthi Fest Noven Jevan.

Below is the list of Ashrams where festive meal was served:

This corporal work of mercy, “feeding the hungry” was only possible due to overwhelmed selfless support and generosity from our donors. May Mama Mary shower her choicest blessings on all our Donors in abundance.

The event was successfully coordinated by Deepak Andrade, Jayson D Souza and Sylvia D Costa with the support of KCWA Managing Committee members.
