Message from the President

Dear Members, Sponsors and Well-wishers,

I am humbled and privileged to be the First Lady President of KCWA for the term 2019 – 2021. I, along with the Managing Committee members are honored by the opportunity given to us to serve KCWA.

KCWA is not only an identity of a prominent Mangalorean Association, but also an identity of Mangalorean in Kuwait. The seed that was planted by four founder members, has been nurtured by sixteen presidents, tended by more than three hundred managing committee members, groomed by over two thousand five hundred members and reaped by millions of poor children and needy brethren.

The total amount disbursed for providing education to needy students and other humanitarian causes has reached a height of 4.5 Crore Indian rupees over the 31 years of KCWA’s existence. I am grateful to all the past Presidents, Managing Committee members, our valued members, donors and well-wishers for their outstanding contribution to KCWA.

KCWA strives to preserve the Mangalorean culture and keep the Konkani language alive in Kuwait. We have planned for many cultural, sports and educational events throughout the year, which would help our members and their family to be engaged and show case their talents. Our plan is also to create awareness to people of Mangalorean community about the important matters such as financial/legal, college admission for their kids by creating seminars.

I encourage my fellow Mangalorean Catholics to become members of KCWA and support us in continuing the noble deeds. As Mother Theresa said “We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love”.

Long Live KCWA

Yours sincerely,
Rinna D’Souza
