On the occasion of Monthi Fest, Kuwait Canara Welfare Association (KCWA) organized an online Marian Quiz for all the Mangalorean Catholics residing in Kuwait aged 10 and above between August 28 and September 8, 2022. The Quiz consisted of 22 questions on Blessed Virgin Mary to be answered by participants. At the end of quiz, KCWA received 212 entries, out of which we had no participant answering all questions correctly. Therefore, it was decided to select 30 participants who had answered 21 questions correct out of the total 22 questions in the quiz.
The Top 3 Winners announcement was done during the 10.45 am Konkani Mass at St. Daniel Comboni Parish, Abbassiya and the video was posted on the official Facebook page of KCWA. Public Relations Officer Alwyn Noronha compared this event and thanked all participants for their active participation. He also encouraged all the members to participate in the upcoming events of KCWA and requested the non-members to become a part of the KCWA family and support the motto of the association.
Three lucky winners were picked by Fr. Noel D Almeida, Fr Peter Cyprian Dsouza and Fr Ravi Rosario and they are as follows:
