Elocution Competition

Dear KCWA Member,

Greetings!!!

We hope you and your family are keeping well and safe. Our children have started with their summer vacation and hope they are having a delightful time with their loved ones around.

Our children are blessed with multiple talents and to enhance their talent, KCWA Managing Committee would like to encourage and bring out the talent of public speaking.

This summer we come with an “Elocution Competition” in Konkani exclusively for our members’ children and the topic is “Corona’n dil’lem borem jinnie lisanv” (ಕೊರೊನಾನ್ ದಿಲ್ಲೆಂ ಬರೆಂ ಜಿಣಿಯೆ ಲಿಸಾಂವ್).

Criteria:

1. To participate record the speech in Konkani and share your video to the email address given below
2. Video length should be 3 minutes

Note: Video will be judged only upto 3 mins. Judges decision is final.

Who can participate?

Below are the 3 categories:

1. Class 3 to 5
2. Class 6 to 8
3. Class 9 to 12

Category Prizes

1. 2 winners (1st & 2nd) from each category – Judges choice
2. 1 winner (3rd prize) from each category based on viewers’ choice (highest likes on YouTube)

Judging criteria will be based on the content, presentation and clarity of your speech.

Last date to submit the video: 20 July, 2021

You may send your video to media@kcwakuwait.org along with the following details:

KCWA membership no., Name and category in which the child participates.

Video should be in landscape mode and the same will be shared on KCWA YouTube channel. Please request your viewers to Subscribe to KCWA Youtube Channel first and then like the video.

This pandemic has brought a lot of newness in our lives and this event serves as a great opportunity to share the positive experiences through our children. Do encourage and support your children to participate.
