Exciting Announcement: YouTube Shorts Contest for Kids and Adults this Summer Holiday!
Get ready to unleash your creativity this summer with our exciting YouTube Shorts Contest for both kids and adults! We’re thrilled to announce an opportunity for our members and their family to showcase their talents, share their stories and engage with our vibrant community through short-form video content.
Here are the details:
Contest Duration: The contest will run throughout the summer holiday, starting from 1st Jun 2024 to 15th Aug 2024
Who Can Participate: This contest is open to KCWA members, spouse and children only in 3 categories – Juniors (Class 3-7), Seniors (Class 8-12) and Adults (18 years and above).
Theme: “KCWA – Feel the Reel” theme for the contest is open-ended, allowing participants to explore their creativity freely. Whether it’s lip syncing, jokes, comedy, skit, education, how to, challenges, a heartfelt story, a dance routine or a tutorial, the possibilities are endless!
Language: Konkani – Creating a reel in Konkani is a fantastic way to celebrate and preserve our culture!
Submission Guidelines: Videos must be created specifically for this contest and adhere to YouTube Shorts guidelines (videos must be vertical and 60 seconds long only). Each participant can submit only one entry throughout the contest duration.
How to Enter: Record the reel in “Portrait Mode” and upload the good quality video on a file sharing service like OneDrive/Google Drive/WeTransfer and share the link by email to media@kcwakuwait.org with below details:
- Group name – Junior / Senior / Adults
- Name of the Participant
- KCWA Membership Number
- Title of your reel
- Contact number
Judging Criteria: Entries will be judged based on Content Clarity, Expression, Creativity, Impact on the viewer and Originality.
Prizes: Exciting prizes awaits the winners, including 2 winners in judges’ choice and 1 winner for Highest likes in YouTube shorts in each category. Winners will be announced followed by prize distribution on 30th Aug 2024 during KCWA General Body Meeting.
Last Date to send your entries to media@kcwakuwait.org is on 15th Aug 2024.
YouTube shorts will be uploaded on “KCWA Kuwait” YouTube channel.
Subscribe the channel and Like the video. Online voting for Highest likes on YouTube shorts will be counted from 16th Aug till 23rd Aug 2024, Kuwait Time 9PM on “KCWA Kuwait” YouTube Channel.
