School’s out, and summer vacation is here! Whether your child is off on a big adventure or enjoying the holidays right at home, we’ve got something exciting to keep the creativity flowing.
Our children are blessed with multiple talents, and to enhance their talent, the KCWA Managing Committee would like to encourage and bring out the talent of public speaking.
We’re thrilled to launch our “Konkani Elocution Competition” this summer holiday, no matter where they spend their break! It’s the perfect chance for young minds to explore, create, and win some awesome prizes, all while having fun.
Who Can Participate: This contest is open to all KCWA members’ children only.
Below are the 2 categories with topic :
Juniors (Class 4-7) – ಮ್ಹಜ್ಯಾ ಗಾಂವ್ಚಿ ಪುನ್ ಶೆತಾಂ
Seniors (Class 8-12) – ಪಮ೯ಳ್ ತಿ ಮಾತಿ ಮ್ಹಜ್ಯಾ ಗಾಂವ್ಚಿ
When: Competition will be held on 29th Aug 2025 (KCWA GBM Day)
Venue: At Indian School of Excellence, Block 12, Salmiya

Competition Rules:
- Individual Entry
- Participants should speak in the Konkani language.
- Each Participant speaks on topic assigned in your group
- The time limit is a minimum of 2 Minutes and a maximum of 3 Minutes only
- Any offensive remarks against any person or religion and obscene or vulgar actions/words should be avoided.
Category Prizes:
2 winners from each category will be selected by a panel of judges, and all the participants will be awarded certificates of participation.
Judging criteria:
- Content Clarity, Diction, Clarity of Thought
- Expression, Confidence, Voice Control, Body Language
- Subject, Originality
- Impact on the viewer, Audience Engagement, Effective Delivery
