We are pleased to announce the Annual Merit Scholarships & Excellence Awards for members’ children, for the Academic Year 2011-2012. The awards will be presented at the “KCWA Christmas Party 2012”. Details of the awards are as follows:
1. “Mrs. Mabel & Mr. Sam Alphonso Merit Scholarship Award”
for Academic Excellence for students of X standard in KUWAIT (CBSE) – First, Second &; Third Places.
2. “Mrs. & Mr. Lawrence D’Souza Merit Scholarship Award”
for Academic Excellence for students of XII standard in KUWAIT (CBSE) – First Place each in Science & Commerce Streams.
3. “(Late) P. V. Saldanha Merit Scholarship Award”
for Academic Excellence for students of X standard in INDIA – First Place (any Boards including CBSE).
4. “(Late) Thomas Castelino Merit Scholarship Award”
for Academic Excellence for students of XII standard in KUWAIT (CBSE) – Second Place each in Science & Commerce Streams.
5. “Spinns Confectionery Excellence Award”
for Excellence in Extra-Curricular Activities – other than education. Be it in Kuwait or elsewhere, if your child has won Inter-school competitions, Inter-college competitions or represented the school/college outside the state/country in the academic year 2011 -2012.
Eligibility: For Merit Scholarship Awards 1 – 4, one of the parents of the child must have been a member of KCWA for 3 consecutive years from 2010 to 2012. The sub-committee’s decision will be final and binding on all applications for all categories.
Members considering Merit Scholarships and Excellence awards for their children, kindly send copies of Marks card / Certificates by email to info@kcwa.org (1 pdf of relevant documents) or to fax no. 22311311 with the following details:

Entry e-mail to mention Award # and student’s name in Subject. You may also handover these documents to any Managing Committee member.

LAST DATE to receive entries will be Saturday, 10th November 2012. KCWA rules in this regard shall apply. Kindly DO NOT send original Marks cards/Certificates.
