KCWA would like to congratulate all the 13 participants for their active participation in “Elocution competition” & their parents for encouraging. The result of Elocution Competition will be announced during the General Body Meeting (GBM) on 27th August 2021.
Our members’ children are multi-talented as they have shown a lot of interest in all the activities that were conducted for them. We are thrilled to announce more events for children of age groups 0 to 2 years & Play school to Class 2 exclusively for our members’ children.
Competition will be conducted in Three categories i.e., 0 to 2 years, Play school to UKG and Class 1 & 2.
First Category: 0 to 2 years – born on or after 1st Aug, 2019 – “Hello Baby” Photo Competition
Criteria
- Give one word caption matching the pictures.
- Single entry for each child.
Last date to submit the photo: 29th August 2021.
Category Prizes:
- 2 winners (1st & 2nd) – Judges’ Choice (Pictures matching the caption)
- 1 winner – viewers’ choice (highest likes)
Picture will be uploaded on KCWA Facebook page.

Second Category: Play school to SR. KG – “Traditional Fancy Dress” Competition (ಸಾಂಪ್ರಾದಾಯಿಕ್ ನಕ್ಲಿ ನೆಸ್ಣಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೊ).
Criteria:
- Record a video in landscape (horizontal) orientation. (The video should be one-shot video, shot on any video recording device (mobile, DSLR, etc.)
- Video not more than 1 minute.
- Short narration in Konkani on his/her character.
- Only an un-edited and un-enhanced video recording will be entertained for the competition. The video should be uploaded into your personal Google Drive to maintain the highest quality.
Last date to submit the video: 8th September 2021
Category Prizes:
- 2 winners (1st & 2nd) – Judges Choice (Character portrayed, creativity shown and presentation skills)
- 1 winner (3rd prize) – viewers’ choice (highest likes on YouTube)

Third Category: Class 1 & 2 – Konkani “Story telling” Competition (ಕಾಣಿ ಸಾಂಗ್ತಾಂ).
Criteria
- Record a video. (The video should be one-shot video, shot on any video recording device (mobile, DSLR, etc.), in landscape (horizontal) orientation.
- Video (Story) should not exceed more than 5 minutes.
- The story must be narrated only in Konkani language.
- Only an un-edited and un-enhanced video recording will be entertained for the competition. The video should be uploaded into your personal Google Drive to maintain the highest quality.
Last date to submit the video: 8th September 2021
Category Prizes:
- 2 winners (1st & 2nd) – Judges Choice (Language proficiency, presentation & moral of the story)
- 1 winner (3rd prize) – viewers’ choice (highest likes on YouTube)
